He was predeceased by: his father Oscar Jackson; and his sisters, Joann and Shellina Jackson. He is survived by: his mother Luella Jackson of Minneapolis; his wife Verna L. Jackson (Davis); his siblings, Curtis Jackson (Debber) of Jacksonville, NC, Willie Mae Jackson-Ferguson, Ernest Jackson (Kimberly), James Jackson (Laura), Constina Jackson, Louella Davis and Penny Jackson; his children, Erick Jackson, Jr. (Gloria) of Minneapolis, Kathleen Tolliver (Levelle) of Minneapolis and Constina Jackson of Minneapolis; and his stepchildren, Kelly Klinger (Hoefs) of Osceola, WI and Jamey Hoefs (Julie) of Ladysmith, WI. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 5 step-grandchildren; and 15 surviving nieces and nephews, and other family and close friends.
Erick worked hard caring for patients during COVID and may have suffered from long COVID himself after beating it twice during the pandemic.
