He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Ruiter and Gladys Ruiter (Krause); his parents-in-law, Jerome and Henrietta Van Dreel; his sisters, Mary Ann Baierl and Dorothy Roth; and his brothers-in-law, Ray Roth, Gene Baierl, David Van Dreel and Donavon Van Dreel.
He is survived by: his wife Judith Ruiter (Van Dreel) of Tripoli; his children, Chris Ruiter (Dawn) of Wisconsin Rapids, WI and Molly Lehman (Paul) of Tripoli, WI; his grandchildren, Rachel Bean (Spencer), Matthew Ruiter, Samuel, Zachary and Halle Lehman; his great grandchildren, Blakely Bean and Kashton Ruiter; and his siblings-in-law, Patricia, Dave Kulhanek, Nancy Van Dreel and Judith Van Dreel. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
