He was predeceased by: his sons, Ronald "Louie" Vos, Ernie Baker and Mel Anderson; and his brothers, Phillip Vos and Roman Vos.
He is survived by: his wife Marie Barhyte; his children, Kenny Vos of Salem, WI, Patti Ann Anderson-Baker (Pete) of Westfield, IN, Michael Vos of Terra Haute, IN, Mark Vos (Chris) of Lake Villa, IL and Dona Rae Ester (Jack) of McHenry, IL; and his siblings, Bill Vos of Antioch, IL, Mary Plechaty of Wisconsin and Sally Schlarbaum (Richard) of New Mexico. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Antioch Fire Department are appreciated in Ron's memory.
