He was predeceased by: his parents, Gearhard Elle and Margaret Elle (McTaggert); his siblings, Margaret "Marge" Werner, Gearhard "Bud" Elle, Noreen DeZanet, Rosalie "Susie" Wind, Michael Elle, Kenneth "Kenny" Elle and Rhonda McCoy; and his mother-in-law Kaete Brauer (Franz).
He is survived by: his wife Angela Elle; his children, Thomas and Flynn; and his siblings, Randan (Rose) and Orma Ashcraft (Chuck). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
