He was predeceased by: his parents, Ove Herreid and Mattie Herreid (Wellington); his spouse Osa Lancour; his siblings, Tom Herreid and Ann Breidenstein (Blain); and his brothers-in-law, Tom Lancour, Bob Kenefick, Gene Lancour, Dick Lancour, Ron Lancour and Eugene Haessly.
He is survived by: his sons, Edwin Herreid (Lisa), John Herreid (Theresa), William Herreid (Dana Hangbrauck) and Randy Herreid (Kristen); and his siblings-in-law, Clarice Herreid, Mary Ann Lancour, Lee Lancour, Mary Ann Nordstrom, Vince Ferrari, Verona Haessly, Joan Herreid, Rita Gosse, Della Anholzer and Alice Ferrari.
