She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Tostrud and Dorris Tostrud (Pierce); her husbands, Paul Tolene and John Kending; her daughter Janet (Donald Pflug); her grandson Robert Pflug (Robbie); her son Jerome Tolene; her stepson Daniel Kending; her stepson-in-law Robert Hudson; her sisters, Mary Ellen Harper, Doris Jean Beam and Allene Grissom; and her great grandchild Roan Izer.
She is survived by: her daughters, Katherine Simpson (Ken) of Ortonville, MI and Sue Kending (Bob) of Lampson, WI; her stepchildren, Martin Kending (Barbara) of Hagerstown, MD and Ellen Hudson of Hagerstown, MD; her daughter-in-law Susan Tolene of Tavares, FL; her stepdaughter-in-law Kay Kending of Cascade, MD; and her brothers, Ronald Langdon (Gloria) and Joseph Langdon (Bernadine). She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.
