He was predeceased by: his mother Sylvia Marcella Okerlund (Larson); his wife Jacquelen Okerlund; his father Burton Okerlund; and his pets, Bandit and Abby.
He is survived by: his former wife Lois Truh; his children, Mera Okerlund Colling and Heather Okerlund Rodgers (Robert); his grandchildren, Evan Colling, Rowen Colling, Rachel Colling, Reese Rodgers, Julia Rodgers and Daniel Rodgers; his stepchildren, Carla Kalland Hill (Rob), Darin Kalland and Cari Kalland Acker; his stepgrandchildren, Robyn Hill Glab (Rob), Calvin Hill, Will Acker, CJ Acker, Rylee LaDoucer and Rayna LaDoucer; his stepgreat-granddaughter Rita Glab; and his siblings, Lucille Sikkink (Herb), Vianne Stehlik (Robert), Eugene Okerlund (Marcia) and Larry Okerlund (Wendy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
