She was predeceased by: her husband Leo; her parents, Michael A. Platten and Loretta E. Platten; her sisters, Rita Story and Susan Stevens; and her brothers-in-law, Lincoln Story, Sam Stevens and David Huguet.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Matthew (Benjamin Baeb), Kevin (April Baeb), Sean Smith (Maria Kang), Stephanie Taylor (Randall) and Benjamin (Katherine Randall); her great grandchildren, Nathan, Aaron, Samuel, Bennett, Evan Baeb, Noah, Amelia Baeb and Elise Katherine Taylor; and her brother Eugene Platten (Betty) of San Diego, CA.. She is also survived by her five children.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established for Claire's favorite charities.
