Virginia Mae Kreft Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Virginia Mae Kreft of Tomahawk, Wisconsin, born in Rhinelander, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 2, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband William "Bill" Kreft Jr. of Tomahawk; her siblings, Peggy Harris, Margaret Ladwig, Bernice Keto and Ray "Punk" Phillips; and her parents, Raymond Phillips and Geraldine Phillips.
She is survived by: her daughters, Billie Kreft of Rhinelander and Chrystina Melau of Rhinelander; her grandson Alex Towne of Rhinelander; and her brother Mick Phillips (Judy) of Eagle River. She is also survived by her grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
When her children were grown, she worked for the Rhinelander Senior Center and was a part in the start up of the Rhinelander Alzheimer's Association.
