He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Thayer and Cecilia Thayer (Buschmann); and his brother Jack Thayer. He is survived by: his wife Sally Thayer; and his sister Sally Nyberg (Edward). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many great friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Generations Funeral Home & Crematory (1400 N 4th St, Tomahawk, WI 54487). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
