She was predeceased by: her spouse Reinhold Semmler; her daughter Heidi (late Fred Strufe); and her siblings, Rudy, Heinz, Walter, Klaus, Gisela Wahler (Michael), Helmut Beissert and Erica Beissert.
She is survived by: her child Winfried Semmler (Joanne); her grandchildren, Jennifer Zarembski (Phil Smejkal), Derek Semmler (Heather), Erin Kilmer (Dan) and Molly Borrowman (Brian); her great grandchildren, Riley Semmler (Taylor), Mason Semmler, Alex Hughart (Zachary), Samantha Zarembski, Benjamin Zarembski, Emma Kilmer, John Kilmer, Ryan Kilmer, Benjamin Borrowman and Isaac Borrowman; her great great grandchildren, Oliver Hughart, Daxton Hughart and Milo Hughart; and her brother Horst Beissert.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hitzeman Funeral Home & Cremation Services (9445 31st St, Brookfield, IL 60513). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hitzeman Funeral Home, Ltd. (9445 31st St, Brookfield, IL 60513). A burial was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at the Forest Home Cemetery (863 Des Plaines Ave, Forest Park, IL 60130).
