He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Richert, and Melva Richert, Sr. (Umlauft); his parents-in-law, Laura and John B. Hoffman; his siblings-in-law, John J. Hoffman, Dale Germain and Lari Hoffman; his nephew William Cody Hoffman; and his grandparents, Gus, Hilda Reichert, William and Luvella Umlauft.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Richert of Tomahawk; his sons, Don Richert (Diane) of Tomahawk, Dan Richert (Alice) of State College, PA and David Richert (Gina) of Green Bay, WI; his grandchildren, Kasey Richert, Sawyer Richert and Amelia Richert; and his siblings-in-law, Kathy Germain of Green Bay, WI, Mary Prohaska (Dan) of Catawba, WI and Jeff Hoffman of Marion, IA..
