We bid farewell to Agnes Genevieve Bernhardt of Tomahawk, Wisconsin, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 7, 2025 at the age of 90. Agnes touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Cornelius Swan and Mary Swan (Dirkx); her husband Samuel Bernhardt; her siblings, Peter Swan and Frances Mabee; and her siblings-in-law, Bettie Swan, Jim Mabee and Larry Vandervest.
She is survived by: her siblings, Bernadine Vandervest, Mary Zahringer (Joe), John Swan, Merrill and Eugene Swan (Ginny); and her sister-in-law Corrine Swan. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (320 E Washington Ave, Tomahawk, WI 54487). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
