With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Walter W. Gilmore of Tomah, Wisconsin, who passed away on June 8, 2020 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Verne Gilmore and Grace Warner (Young); his stepfather Henry Warner; his niece Sandra Blacklock (Harmel); and his sister-in-law Tina Gilmore.

He is survived by: his children, Kenny Gilmore and Kali Johnson; his grandchildren, Hannah and Hunter; and his siblings, Shirley Harmel (Don) of Tomah, Yvonne McCrory of Portland, OR, Linda Gilmore of Tomah, Dianne Shaw (Lewis) of Necedah, Sandra Lincoln of Madison, Karen Sue Dorn (William B.) of Tomah, Robert Gilmore (Mary) of Akeley, MN, Henry "Al" Warner (Doreen) of Mauston, James Warner (Cheryle) of Mayo, FL and Terry Gilmore of Norwalk. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and close friends.

His love for family and friends persisted even as he was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and moved into the Greenfield House where he made even more meaningful connections.
