It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vernon W Hemerley (Tomah, Wisconsin), who passed away on August 2, 2019, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings-in-law, Reinold Eckelberg, Ruby Butterfuss of Tomah, Marie Neitzel of Onalaska, Gladys Kaus (Roger) of Raleigh, NC, Alvera Eckelberg of Kendall and Marian Eckelberg of Clinton; and his siblings, Everett and Darleen Martalock.
He is survived by: his wife Lucile Eckelberg; his daughters, Jayne Jaeger (Gene) of Watertown, SD and Lynne Sakowski (Mark) of Cockeysville, MD.; his grandsons, Ethan of Watertown, SD., Colin of Watertown, SD. and Lucas Jaeger of Watertown, SD.; and his sisters, Ramona Waterworth of Columbus, WI and Judy Kessenich of Denver, CO.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
