“My condolences to the family of Steve Farrand. I met Steve in 1983 when I first started working for a company that was called SAI (Science Applications Inc.; later SAIC). Steve showed me around the test facility that had been set up near Sterling, Virginia for a large DoD contract. I still recall how we stopped along the way at a coffee shop and Steve got coffee and had a smoke. He told me many stories of how things were going on the contract. He shared much that day. Rest in peace, Steve.”
