She was predeceased by: her parents, John Herman and Leona Slaght; and her siblings, Loren Slaght, Gerald Slaght, Terry Slaght, Carol Nevin, Pearl Nevin, Betty Cornwell and Sharon Neice.

She is survived by: her husband Roger Raymond Eck; and her sisters, Lucille Olson, Karen Lemon, Beverly Dahl and Darlene Koeller. She is also survived by five children.
