He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyle Winkelman and Evelyn Winkelman (Kamrath); his siblings, Carol Ann Winkelman and Jerry; his sister-in-law Linda Winkelman; his grandson Mason Dixon; and also Dale Dixon.
He is survived by: his wife June of John's Lutheran Church; his children, Kristina Martin (Dave), Tricia Winkelman, Mark Dixon (Nikki) and Kevin Dixon (Shelly); and his siblings, Duane Winkelman (Karleen), Keith Winkelman (Lori) and Betty Zimmerman. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Tomah American Legion Post #201 (800 Wisconsin Ave, Tomah, WI 54660). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
