He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Habelman and Anna Habelman (Lobe); his wife Jean Hoag; his sons, Robert L. Jr and Arthur John; and his siblings, Kenneth, Claire, Lloyd, Raymond, Eileen Gottbeheut (Ray) and Gladys Van Petten (Stacy).
He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Carolyn Habelman of Tomah; his nephew Ray E. (Kris); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jeff Habelman of Tomah, Ray J. Habelman (Staci) of Tomah, Julie Habelman of LaCrosse and Holly Carlson (Rick) of Tomah.
