He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Hanson and Agnes Hanson (Erickson); his son Michael; his granddaughter Kasi; his stepfather Kenneth Johnson; and his siblings, LaVerne (Lola), Albion (Frieda), Raymond (Edna), Gordon (Lorraine), Elverda Anderson (Otis), Vessie Westby (Arnold), Ivadell Suhr (Vernon), Junella Callum (Lawrence) and Marlene Waters (William).
He is survived by: his nephew Edwin; his wife Donna of Sparta, WI; his sons, Henry of Lake Mills, WI and Ron Hanson (Mary) of Sparta, WI; and his grandchildren, Kami Ayres (Chad), Kristin Turner (Troy), Kelly Erickson (Craig), Reid Hanson, Justin Hanson (Molly), Danielle Hanson and Keni Theisen (Tyler). He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
