He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Vinney and Dorothy Vinney (Burns); his wife Elda "Bibs" Vinney; his son-in-law Brad Farrand; and his siblings, Albert, Arthur Vinney, Marian Boberg, Jeannette Berent and Harriet Lawson.
He is survived by: his children, Joan Akins of Arena, WI, Sandi Edgerton (Phil) of Mauston, WI, Roxane Stratton (Allen) of Apopka, FL, Sandra Vinney of Tomah, WI and Victoria Farrand of Buford, GA; his siblings, Louis "John" Vinney (Linda) of Kingston, AZ, Charlotte Schreier (Roger) and Rosie Meyer (Mike) of Oakdale, WI; his sister-in-law Helen Vinney; and his close friend Eileen Collins. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Memorials may be made in Ray's name to the St. Jude Children's Hospital in his memory.
