He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Schendel and Wanda Schendel; his siblings, Esther and Kenneth Dean; and his sons-in-law, Karl Ferguson and Al Klaser.
He is survived by: his wife June M. Lounsbury; and his children, Patricia Stevens (Bill) of Ft. Collins, CO, Barbara Mundinger of Tomah, WI, Ellen Ferguson of Orlando, FL, Paul Schendel (Gina) of Tomah, WI, Paula Klaser of Ocean Springs, MS and Michael Schendel (Junko) of Yigo, Guam. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
