She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Brooks and Velma Brooks (Straight); her former husband Robert "Bob" Wayne Carlson; and her siblings, Beulah, Fick, Beverly Yahnke, Rachel Marnach and Spencer Brooks.
She is survived by: her husband Paul; her daughter Sue Hanson (Dave); her granddaughter Emily; her son Arnold Carlson (Chris); her grandchildren, Ashley and Brian Carlson; her great grandchild Eric McMinn; and her nieces and nephews, David Gerke (Chris), Cheryl Pitsch (Joe), Stewart Yahnke and Dawn Engen. She is also survived by many great nieces and nephews, other relatives, and good friends.
