He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph McDaniel and Lena McDaniel (Sherrick); his sister-in-law Margaret McDaniel; his granddaughter Brandee Baldwin; his son-in-law Michael Sahr; and his parents-in-law, Lester and Elna Malston.

He is survived by: his wife Irene Malson.
