He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Shutter and Leila Shutter (Reekie); his wife Reggie of Mary's Catholic Church; his parents-in-law, George and Mary Treml; his brother Howard Shutter; and his siblings-in-law, Paul Treml, Darwin DeGrave, Eugene Blahnik, Butch Lufter, Dale Davister, Gloria Shutter, Veronica Blahnik and Mary Davister.
He is survived by: his children, Joan Isono (Matthew) of Honolulu, Jeffrey Shutter (Delores) of Green Bay and Jon Shutter (Jennifer) of Boulder, CO; his grandchildren, Joshua, Jennifer, Ian and Sadie; his brother Gary Shutter; and his siblings-in-law, Dorothy Shutter, Joanne Treml, Pat Lufter, Rita DeGrave, Teri Jerabek (Bill), Kay Grunwald (Gary), Ben Treml (Barb), Victor Treml (Linda), Mark Treml (Cindy) and Roland Treml (Jean). He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Queen of Apostles Parish (315 E Monroe St, Tomah, WI 54660). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location.
