He was predeceased by: his parents, Gustave Preuss and May Preuss (Kopenhafer); his siblings, Elden, Adeline, George and Gladys; and his granddaughter Jessica Lawrence.
He is survived by: his wife Nadine of Tomah; his children, Kathy Houzner (Joseph) of Portage, Deanna Lawrence (Richard) of Wonewoc and Jeff (Anna) of Elroy; his grandchildren, Robert Preuss (Rachel) of Hanover, MN and Allison Preuss (Hank Rotering) of Alma; and his great grandchildren, Samuel, Noah Preuss, Torrick and Brynelle Lawrence.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the Journey Home - Tomah VA Hospice unit.
