It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Nelson (Tomah, Wisconsin), born in Portsmouth, Virginia, who passed away on February 27, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Nelson and Ruby Jean Boeckermann (Rosholt); his stepmother Leola Nelson; his siblings, Douglas, Phillip Nelson and Celeste Nelson; his parents-in-law, Leonard Chappuis and Grace Chappuis; and his siblings-in-law, Diane Hoff, Darlene Paulson and Duane Chappuis.

He is survived by: his sons, Jeff of Austin, TX and Keith (Julie) of Tomah, WI; his wife Donna (Chappuis); his children, Jeffrey (Teresa) and Teresa Parkinson (Christopher) of Kennesaw, GA; his grandchildren, Jay (Ashlee), Andy (Mariel), Marc (Melanie), Vance Scarborough, Gerry, Charlie, Jack Parkinson and Amanda Miller (Kevin); his great grandchildren, Asher, Maddie, Vivian and Nora; his half-sister Donna Lynn Hunt; his stepsister JoAnn Dunbar; and his siblings-in-law, Doreen Langlois, Debbie Berggren and Dennis Chappuis. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
