It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Duane A. Prise of Tomah, Wisconsin, who passed away on August 11, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbert Prise and Lucille Prise (Vincent); and his granddaughter Elizabeth Micheel. He is survived by: his wife Lois Jackson; his children, Eric Prise (Mary) of Tomah, WI, Kari Steinhoff (John) of Tomah, WI, Kurt Prise (Denise) of Tomah, WI, Karla Welch (Danny) of Tomah, WI and Kristi Micheel of Sparta, WI; his grandchildren, Mallory Egstad (Erik), Courtney Prise (Beau Jacobson), Whitney Gnewikow (Tim), Ryan Steinhoff (Jolene Danca), Emily Newbury (Eric), Molly Moseley (Troy), Kyle Welch, Zachary Welch, Cody Micheel and Corey Micheel; his great grandchildren, Henry Egstad, Jenalynn, Owen Gnewikow, Logan, Riley Larsen, Josie, Jack Newbury, Jameson, Margaret and Rory Moseley; and his brother Lowell Prise (Deb) of Tomah. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Tomah Hospice Touch or the Tomah Fire Department.
