He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Thill and Letha Thill (Railton); his son Jack; his stepfather Ed Instenes; and his siblings, Nathlie Wons, Jim Thill, Carol Koenig and David Thill.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Chick; his daughter Sara Whiskin (Jeff); his grandchildren, Derek Hart (Nicole), Hunter Hart (Courtney Holland) and Auguste Johnson (Alex); his great grandchildren, Mason and Madilyn Johnson; his siblings, Janet Woolsey (Nick), Mike Thill (Nell) and Richard Thill; and his stepsisters, Paulynn, Karen and Paula Instenes. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in Don's memory to the DAV (Disabled American Veterans) or the Tomah VFW Post #1382.
