With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David P. Steinert of Tomah, Wisconsin, born in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 21, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Steinert and Irene Steinert (Gedons); his grandchildren, Kate and Andrew Steinert; his sister Suzanne Meyer; and his nephew Andrew Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Joan A. Freiberg of Tomah; his children, Kristine "Kris" Nichols (Steve) of Tomah and Timothy "Tim" Steinert (Monica) of Duluth, MN; his grandchild Rhianna Hanson (Jake); his great grandchildren, Irene and Vera Hanson; his granddaughters, Rachael Nichols and Amber Soule (Ryan); his great grandchildren, Riley and Andrew Soule; his grandson Caleb Steinert (Emmalie); his sister Sharon Johnson; and also Mike Jensen. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
The family requests memorials be given in David's memory to St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, Monroe County Republican Party or a charity of your choice.
