He was predeceased by: his parents, Leeds Arity and Gayle Arity (Moseley); his parents-in-law, Howard and Grace Belt; his siblings, Preston Arity (Irene) and Sayra Anderson-Lessor (Clarence); his siblings-in-law, Lois Nelson, Bob Lessor and Halbert Belt; and his nephew John Arity (Glendeana).
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Belt; his nieces and nephews, Lee Arity (Judy), Joan Ebersold, Chris Anderson (Myra), Bridget Lesniak (David), Thomas Arity, Megan Beatty (Brian), Dean Nelson (Linda), Neal Nelson (Kari), Bruce Nelson (Kelly), Nancy Boulet and David Nelson; and his brother-in-law Russell Nelson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Open Door Baptist Church.
