She was predeceased by: her parents, Harley Benbo and Caroline Benbo (Bergum); her husband Paul Downing; her sons, Eric Downing and Alan; her son-in-law Brian Smith; and her cousin Margie Borgending.
She is survived by: her children, Paulette Karper of Ontario, David Downing (Alma) of Kendall, Paula Jean Thayer (Stuart) of LaValle, Scott Downing (Daguin) of Kendall, Aaron Downing of Kendall and Jennifer Popp (Chris) of Tomah; and her daughter-in-law Norlyn Downing. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
