She is survived by: her children, Lowell Hanson Jr. (Cynthia) of Buffalo, KY, Peter Hanson (Marina) of Viroqua, WI, Kathleen Hanson of Raton, NM, Kim Eades (Steve) of Warrens, WI, Erik Hanson of Eding, ND, Heidi Schmidt (Gary) of New Richmond, WI, Holly McConaughey of Clayton, WI, Josi Haerr (Shane) of Haiku, Elysia Semmerling of Haiku and Cachia Parks (Scott) of Haiku; her brothers, Charles Kilgore and David Kilgore (Jane); and her close friend Char O'Brian of Haiku. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Memorials in Carol's memory may be given to the Serenity House in Tomah.
