He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Hathaway and Dorothy Hathaway; and his father-in-law Lester Markin. He is survived by: his wife Laurel "Jo" Leone (Markin); his children, Robert Hathaway (Ginny) and Patricia Hesse (Bart); his grandchildren, Lauren, Connor Hathaway, Andrea Kratz (Ryan) and Carter Hesse; his great grandchildren, Finley and Hudson Kratz; and his mother-in-law Agnes Markin.
