It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Steven J. Nero of Tigerton, Wisconsin, who passed away on January 28, 2022, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Nero and Betty Nero (Kersten); and his niece Desirae Lehman. He is survived by: his wife Kim M. Lehman; his children, Jason (Melissa) of Madison and Erin Zander (Christian) of Tigerton; his grandchildren, Zoey and Calvin Zander; his sisters, Diane Koepke (Darold) of Tigerton and Sharon Piastowski (Jeffrey) of Tigerton; his parents-in-law, Judy Felts (Dennis), Dale Lehman (Linnea), Patrick Lehman (Dawn), Douglas Lehman (Tammy), Kristie Yonker, Terrie Tauferner (Ryan) and Donald L. Lehman (Mary) of Tigerton; his aunt Bonnie Hidde of Clintonville; his uncle Herman Kersten (Joan) of Tigerton; and his pet Max. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends.

We would like to extend a special thanks to the Dr. Bret Stysly and the staff at Wausau Hospital COVID-ICU for the wonderful care they provided to Steve and for the support to our family.
