He was predeceased by: his former wife Virginia McKenna. He is survived by: his children, Pat, Debra, Katie, Irvin Schmidt Jr. (Renee) and Roy Schmidt; his grandchildren, Jessica (Andy), Kayla, Hunter and Cort; his great grandchildren, Landon and Easton; his brother Norm; and his wife Debra.
Irvin never wanted a funeral and with the pandemic he is getting his wish.
