He was predeceased by: his parents, William Karl Sr. and Edna Gaffron; his wife Carol (Samz); and his sister Edna. He is survived by: his children, Mary, Lori of Milwaukee, Anne (Paul) of Apex, Karl (Christine) of Three Lakes, Mark of Woodruff and Scot (Trisha) of Wisconsin Dells. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and other relatives.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be set up with the American Diabetes Association.
