With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Sylvia V. Cieslek of Thorp, Wisconsin, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry W. Cieslek and Helen R. Cieslek (Gwiazdon); her son-in-law Rich Lesniewski; and her sister Marian Bielecki. She is survived by: her daughter Diane Lesniewski of Thorp; her granddaughters, Erin Lesniewski-Copeland (Steve Alton) of Menomonie, WI and Desiree Lesniewski-Theisen (Michael) of Eau Claire; her great grandchildren, Ella Copeland, Dylan, Drew Alton, Olivia and Damian Theisen; and her sister Rosemary Regehr of Wausau. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Bernard-St. Hedwig's Catholic Church (111 N Church St, Thorp, WI 54771). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, her family requests that donations be made in her name to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
