He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Mason and Grace Mason (Smally). He is survived by: his wife LaVonne Stuart; his children, Steven Mason (Frances), Nichole Schmidt (Kari), Valerie Mason (Will), Ryan Mason and Jonathon "Boots' Mason (Michelle); and his brothers, Charles Mason (Iona), Sam Mason (Pat) and Darwin "Punky" Mason (Ricky). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren.
