He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer S. Mickle and Helene Mickle (Neubert); his brother Ramon; and his brother-in-law Ken Sutter. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ann Sutter; his children, Judy Mickle of Thorp and Joe Mickle (Donna) of Thorp; his stepgrandchildren, Joe Nelson and Melissa Samuel (Thomas); his stepgreat-grandsons, Lucas and Ethan Samuel; his sister Carole Yankus (Raymond) of The Villages, FL; and his sisters-in-law, Jeanne Pitel (Curt) of Waukesha, WI and Jackie Sutter of Hartford, WI. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.

Memorials to the family are appreciated and will be used for memorial masses at a future date.
