He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Copas and Nancy Copas (Hawke); and his brother David Copas. He is survived by: his wife Roxi of Thorp; his sons, Mike Copas of Cornell, WI, Casey Copas (Wanda Patrie) of Cornell, WI and Levi Copas (Heather) of Chippewa Falls, WI; his grandsons, Brady (Nicole), Devin and Austin Copas; and his siblings, Susan Petrie (Bruce) of Waukesha, WI, Wayne Copas of Ladysmith, WI, Alan Copas (Cherry) of Durand, WI, Sarah Ambrose (Jim) of Amherst, WI, Paul Copas (Roberta) of Ladysmith, WI and Margaret Holzem (Jeff) of Ladysmith, WI. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Thorp Funeral Home (110 W School St, Thorp, WI 54771). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
