He was predeceased by: his parents, Delmond Johnson and Amber Johnson (Nolan); his brother John; his daughter-in-law Gina Johnson; his father-in-law Eugene Santala; his brother-in-law Ken Mengel; and his nephew Keith Mengel.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Santala; his children, Eric (Kathy), Amy Vollrath (Josh), Trent (Erica), Tinker (Penny), Luke (Lara), Kallie (Brian) and Kasey (Jordan); his grandchildren, Tyler, Logan (Neilana), Jeffrey (Rylie), Ty, Ryan (Alyssa), Teagan (Trevor), Tatum, Gianna, Bo, Vander, Taylan (Ryan), Rylie (Jeffrey), Jaeger, Baileigh (Jarrett), Delainey, Kendra, Madisen, Larissa and Jack; his great grandchildren, Callum, Leo, Reese, Luca, Beckham, Andie, Remi and Nolan; his siblings, Karen Milz (Duane) and Dean; and his sister-in-law Pat Mengel. He is also survived by cousins, many nieces and nephews and countless friends.
