She was predeceased by: her parents, John Mumper and Dorothy Mumper (Lueck); her husband James A. Schmitz; her daughter Connie Schmitz; and her brother Harold Mumper.
She is survived by: her children, Kathleen Schmitz of Thorp, Mary Panchyshyn of Maple Grove, MN, Thomas Schmitz of Sheboygan, Patrick Schmitz of Howards Grove, Ann Haas (Marvin) of Thorp, John Schmitz of Sheboygan, Karen Schmitz of Sheboygan and Judy Banie (Dan) of Sheboygan. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Thorp Catholic School, the Thorp Food Pantry, or a charity of choice.
