It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan K. Schmidt of Thorp, Wisconsin, born in Stanley, Wisconsin, who passed away on June 20, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie J. Gutowski and Bernice E. Gutowski (Szczech); and her children, Karen Schmidt and Roger Schmidt. She is survived by: her spouse Cliffy Schmidt; and her children, Jim Schmidt (Kathy), Kay Schmidt and Dennis Schmidt. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, Godchildren, other relatives, and friends.
