He is survived by: his siblings, Doris Jean Byers, Brent Carter, Sara Weirich and Robert Carter; his wife Phyllis; and his children, Michele Carter, Michael Carter, John Carter (Stephanie), Debbie Barth (Tom), Vicki Kohls (Scott), Randy Carter (Denise) and Rick Carter.
