He was predeceased by: his father Walter J. Pogodzinski; his granddaughter Victoria K. Pogodzinski; his brother Walter Pogodzinski; and his son-in-law Jason Hempleman. He is survived by: his mother Theresa J. Pogodzinski (Potazek) of Thorp; his daughters, Bobbie Neisius (Daniel) of Thorp, Ann Batteen of Thorp, Ellen Kromrey (Aaron) of Osceola, WI and Carrie Hempleman of Thorp; his grandchildren, Sebastian Neisius (Faith), Waylan Neisius, Ivan Neisius, Dorian Neisius, Kalvin Lara, Emma Lara (Nate Guralski), LiliAnn Batteen, William Batteen, Shelby Kromrey, Hunter Kromrey and Damian Pogodzinski (Katelyn); his great grandchildren, Anthony and Aurora Neisius; and his siblings, Vincent Pogodzinski (Kathy) of Lake Holcombe, WI, Russell Pogodzinski (Nancy) of Cadott, WI, Florian Pogodzinski of Thorp and Bridget Sorenson of Eau Claire. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Bernard - St. Hedwig Catholic Church (111 N Church St, Thorp, WI 54771). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
