He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore J. E. and Elsie I. Petke (Rohland); his grandson Jackson Petke; his brother Richard McDonald; his parents-in-law, Joe and Agnes Lato; his brothers-in-law, Ted Lato and Bob Dion; and his nephew Derrick Fravert.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Lato of Thorp; his sons, Nathan (Angie) of Thorp and Travis (Jen) of Greenwood, WI; his grandchildren, Payton, Brooklyn and Dean; his sister Patsy Tetzlaff (Al) of Sundance, WY; and his siblings-in-law, Jean Kadolph (Randy) of Waupaca, WI, Mary Fravert (Fred) of Merrill, WI, Rita Dion of Dresser, WI and Roy Lato (Judy) of Thorp. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Thorp Funeral Home (110 W School St, Thorp, WI 54771). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
