It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ella Welgos of Thorp, Wisconsin, born in Lublin, Wisconsin, who passed away on February 15, 2024, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Steven Lencz and Mary Lencz (Paraschak); her husband Wally; her son Tony; her grandchildren, Elliot Welgos, Katherine Schmall and Ryan Welgos; and her siblings, Harry, Frank, Michael, Daniel, Joe and Theodosia Burzynski.
She is survived by: her children, Danny (Maureen) of Thorp, WI, Mary Schmall (Keith) of Payson, AZ and Anne Parks (Harry) of Sheboygan Falls, WI; her grandchildren, Andy Welgos, Mark Welgos, Jacqueline Barnes and Kevin Schmall; her daughter-in-law Kathy Welgos of Snowmass, CO; and her brother John Lencz. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Thorp Food Pantry, Clark County Humane Society or a charity of their choice.
