It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dennis L. Mnichowicz of Thorp, Wisconsin, who passed away on February 25, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton of Poland and Anna (Pawlik) of Ukraine Mnichowicz; and his nephew Matthew Vandenburg of Mercer, WI.. He is survived by: his former wife Ruth Voigtlander of Thorp, WI; his daughters, Kimberly Mnichowicz of Milwaukee, WI, Mary Mnichowicz of Chicago, IL and Carolyn Mnichowicz of Menomonie, WI; his granddaughters, Sophia and Mia Mnichowicz of Menomonie, WI; his brothers, James Mnichowicz (Anita) of Gilman and Tony Mnichowicz of Gilman; his sisters-in-law, Theresa Mnichowicz of Roselle, IL and Georgette Vandenberg of Mercer, WI; his nieces, Heidi Ashbeck (Ryan) of Greenwood, WI, Cherie Fuchs of Roselle, IL and Karen Mnichowicz of Roselle, IL; and his nephew Carl Vandenberg (Lori) of Ironwood, Michigan..
He also donated money to the Thorp Public Library on a yearly basis for many years.
