She was predeceased by: her parents, George Mayer and Ina Mayer (Barron); her husband Herman P. Zimmerman; and her siblings, Lila A. Mayer, Roger, Arnold, Kenneth and Darold Mayer.
She is survived by: her children, Bonnie J. Burger (Gene Jr.) of Brooksville, FL, George Zimmerman (Carol) of Spring Valley, WI and Ronald Zimmerman (Lynne) of Fall Creek, WI; her sisters, Ione Freid of Eau Claire and Edna Carlson (Harland) of Eau Claire; and her close friends, Bill Fagerland (Barb) and John Benish (Hillary) of Bluefield, WV. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
